Relaxation massages offer many benefits to the client. In today’s day, we are always on high speed and rushing around. Whether getting to work, finishing an assignment, family, finances, appointments, and everything in between which can result in having high amounts of stress. There are many ways to try to relieve your stress, but getting a massage is one of the most relaxing ways to help. At Adica Massage we strive to reduce stress, present a relaxing atmosphere, and adapt to our client’s needs.

All these stresses have a detrimental effect on our bodies, this is something we don’t always realize. But soon after we will notice some high blood pressure, stress headaches, muscle aches and pains, insomnia, poor dietary habits, and little patience for the minor of things. It’s rare that we actually take what we call “me time” which is necessary for your mental and physical health. It is not selfish to take time for yourself, and what better way than to de-stress than with a relaxing massage?

Did you know that by going for regular relaxation massages, can help you get to receive a better sleep? Sleep is a huge contributing factor to our everyday lives. It is the basis for how smoothly our daily routines go. Your blood pressure will slowly go back to normal as it helps relax the vessels in your body that allow for a better blood flow. You will be able to fight off infections better, as your lymph glands are drained giving your body a new level of fight. You will be able to concentrate better as you feel more relaxed and ready to focus and receive tasks.  Your aches and pains that are associated with high stress will gradually also diminish unless you have a medical issue that causes these aches and pains. However, even if it is a medical issue like Parkinson’s Disease, sometimes this will temporarily give you some relief. When you are stressed, like most of us are daily, your body tenses up and will cause inflammation that constricts blood and valuable nutrients our bodies need.  Your mood will also lighten up when you get a relaxation massage. After your massage, the therapist will leave the room and let you wake and stretch as you please. This is an added extra for you to have a little more “me time” so that you are ready for the world and in the best head-space possible. From our experience, most people are not a fan of having to deal with “Oscar the Grouch” so having that extra five minutes to prepare and collect yourself adds a huge touch of basic concentration that will help you once you leave.
