Working with a couple’s therapist can enhance the quality of relationships. A couple’s therapist has training in communication assessment and is able to facilitate a therapeutic voice for each client in the room. A typical couple’s session involves 2 individuals who are seeking to improve communication, quality of their relationship, or who require help to navigate difficult topics. Couples are most commonly in romantic relationships but can also be: parents and children, business partners, general family members, or close friends.

Our couple’s therapist Lori Buyting is able to see couples of varying backgrounds for short-term or extended therapy. Lori can work with communication, resentment, grief, infidelity, and general lack of connection. Lori is able to see parent-teen pairs as well.

Brandi Hanna sees couples who are working through difficulties associated with stepfamily/blended family life. Typically, she will work with a custodial parent and step-parent to help them navigate the pitfalls of blended family life. Brandi does not see couples for standard issues outside of this.
